Cosplay character design & live communication for FERCHAU at Gamescom 2024

For Gamescom 2024, we were able to support FERCHAU – one of the leading technology service providers in Germany – with a very special trade fair highlight: an interactive, creative character campaign that combines technological innovation with pop culture storytelling.

From the idea to the trade fair stage

In close cooperation with the FERCHAU team, we have developed individually developed character concepts – including design, background story and personality. The resulting figures were then brought to life by elaborately designed costumes .

Our team not only took over the creative and technical implementation of the costumes, but also the active presence at the fair: As brand ambassadors in character roles , we walked through the halls in the designs, got in touch with visitors, answered questions and attracted attention at the booth with charisma and interaction.

Gamification meets trade fair marketing

An additional highlight of the trade fair was the Instagram challenge that we co-designed: Visitors who took a photo with our characters and linked FERCHAU to Instagram received a free goodie bag – a simple but effective gamification element that increased social media reach directly on site and ensured lively participation.

Result: Visibility, sympathy and commitment

The combination of creative costumes, interactive live storytelling and clever visitor activation ensured a high level of attention, many positive reactions and a strong connection between brand and trade fair audience. This project shows how cosplay, design and event marketing can work together effectively to present technological topics in an emotional and accessible way.
